We can say that SOA is a design philosophy, which allows the company to integrate independent applications in the form of services so that the functionalities of these can be accessed from the network, and therefore offer the company great flexibility.
The ability to optimize business processes and respond quickly to changes and market pressures are a key point in the growth of an organization and its competitiveness in the business world. The dynamism of these can be questioned if it is supported by IT environments that are not able to respond flexibly to these changes that affect business activity.
The Service Oriented Architecture is a design philosophy that allows a better alignment of Information Technologies (IT) with business needs; Since the exposed services are business functionalities, who better than the business analyst to define which software component is a service, or to model business processes and understand how they relate to existing applications; If we leave in the hands of the technicians exclusively the identification of these services, we can fall into the error of thinking that any object (useful or not for the business
process) is a service; in fact, in the work teams it is proposed that there are analysts from the 2 teams ending the traditional division between these two areas and predicting the success of our SOA implementation.
We should not think that any particular technology, product or framework is SOA; moreover, SOA is technology-vendor neutral; since it is a form of distributed computing, so any technology that is capable of executing programs remotely (RPC, remote procedure call) and in which the input/output parameters (service contract) can be indicated, it would be possible to implement a service-oriented architecture; thus, it can be said that there is no standard recipe for implementing SOA under a specific technology.
Oracle SOA Suite, is Oracle’s commitment to the implementation of solutions as services (SaaS, Software as a Service) and is composed of a large number of applications within Oracle Fusion Middleware.
