Companies that are not afraid of change are the great source of hope in these times when consumer habits are changing.
We are facing great potential in the new customer profile, those young people who strongly push us to improve our sales system, marketing, etc. every day.
Those who buy online, who do not know how to go to a traditional market due to lack of time, those future professionals in which the “I want it, I have it” prevails.
They will never think of waiting a week to be able to make a purchase and take it home or have the idea of making a trip and wait an hour at the window of a station to buy a train ticket, as soon as you neglect a little, they have bought the ticket online they have left and returned. It is another form of consumption to which we have to get more and more accustomed.
However, there is still a very large sector of the population in which this system finds it difficult to adapt. And what surprises me most are the professionals in the commercial world.
Taking into account that they carry state-of-the-art mobile phones in their pockets, how is it possible that you invite them to try a new order collection system and they answer “we continue to make them on paper, like all our lives, it works!”
When from a telephone terminal with a CRM program they can know all the data of the client, know their orders, their buying habits, their payment method and you can, after placing the order of the day, directly send the invoice to their mail in five minutes.
Companies that do not adapt to this are lost.
But, they still carry out their tasks in an old and traditional format.
Change costs both adaptation and investment, but those who within the economic adversities of the moment invest in new ways of working, those will be the ones who lead the market in a short space of time.
