vTiger is an “Open Source” CRM tool, with a set of features that includes the automation of marketing communications, sales force, inventory management, support and customer service.

The installation is very simple and is supported by Linux and Windows operating systems and the user interface is intuitive and easy to use, which guarantees a quick learning and adaptation to the organization. It also has the possibility to integrate with applications such as MS Outlook and Mozilla / Thunderbird, MS Word, Asterisk (which provides telephone exchange functionality) among others.
The low investment required to launch a project of this type and the ease of installation is a value to consider, of course as long as we stay within the standard functionality offered by the tool, from there you can complicate everything you want.
In general, entities (blocks) can be edited, custom fields added, blocks moved, drop-down lists created, etc. It has some additional components such as data validation, permissions on data for groups and users, hierarchy, even a simple business process module.
The flow of order creation is quite accomplished. You can create an order in different ways with a few clicks until you reach the billing of the same, however the detail of the item (products of the order) of the order is quite basic, and the standard does not allow you to add new fields. Data such as dates, comments, ect. (item-level) is a functionality typically demanded in CRM implementations.
